Who we are

GridLocal, operated by Scott McGuckin ("GridLocal," "we," "us") operates gridlocal.com and provides local search visibility auditing and marketing services. You can reach us at smcguckin3@gmail.com.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you request a visibility scan or report, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, and business location. If you become a client we also collect billing information, which is processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers.

Information we collect automatically. IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps. We use this to understand how the site is used and to maintain records of consent.

Publicly available business information. We collect and analyze information that businesses have published publicly — Google Business Profile listings, business websites, public review content, and public directory listings. This is the raw material of the audits we produce.

How we use it

Text messages

If you check the SMS consent box on our forms, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from GridLocal at the mobile number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance. See our Messaging Terms for full detail.

We keep a record of your consent, including the date, time, and IP address from which it was given.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate — hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, CRM, analytics, and payment processing. They may use it only to perform services for us.

We also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information.

> ⚠️ KEEP THIS PARAGRAPH VERBATIM — this is the line carriers check during 10DLC brand vetting. Removing it is a common cause of registration rejection.

>

> No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your choices

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with applicable privacy laws have additional rights including access, deletion, correction, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email smcguckin3@gmail.com.

How long we keep it

As long as needed to provide services and meet legal obligations. Consent records are retained for at least four years, which is the applicable statute of limitations for telephone consumer protection claims.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We'll post any changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated directly where we have your contact information.
